Dutch Celebrities spend a few days enjoying an ASIS RIB-Experience

During the Wereldhaven dagen (Rotterdam World Port Day’s), which was held on the weekend of 7-8 and 9 of September 2007,  a 9,5 meter ASIS with 2x 250 E-Tec  stole the show”.

Famous Dutch Chef and TV celebrity Herman den Blijker and his associate David Crouwel spend Saturday and Sunday blasting around the River Maas in Rotterdam. For the last 2 months Herman underwent training at the ASIS RIB training school in Holland.

Herman was very happy in the ASIS 9,5m and spent many hours demonstrating the boats capabilities sometimes at speeds of 100 KMh and more, enjoying every moment.

Herman managed to outperform the Harbour Police RIB and created a great spectacle for the 450,000+ crowd that had gathered on the banks of the river. Herman showed the Royal Dutch Marine Corps what could be done with the ASIS RIB, with a big smile on his face!

On the Sunday night the ASIS 9,5 was displayed in front of Herman’s new restaurant “Las Palmas” in Rotterdam. The boat floated gallantly covering the entire span of the restaurant window in full view of the guests.

Herman cooked an award winning meal for his guests to round off a fantastic weekend!
